Santa

Our little friend, Eliza, must be special because Santa came to visit her at her home this year. My family was so happy to share that time with her and the William's family. My younger kids were certain they were talking to the real Santa (not like those Santas you find at the mall who are just helpers!).
Thank you, friend's, for a magical evening.

Sweet Eliza...

Eli was a bit nervous, but managed to ask for some Bakugan. Abram was on the sidelines reminding him of everything he wanted. Thank goodness for younger brothers when you get tongue-tied and nervous around Santa.

And there was Abram, who unloaded his ENTIRE list to Santa that evening.

This was the look Clara gave Santa most of the evening.

But, much to our surprise, and at the insistance of which younger brother? Oh, yes, that would be Abram...she hopped up on his lap, asked for a Barbie, then hopped right down and ran back to her daddy's arms. Safe again.

Isabelle felt like she was far too old to sit on Santa's lap. Nonsense. We made her do it and I can't be sure she even actually spoke to him. But she did walk away with a candy cane and sometimes that's what's important.

Jonah was pretty hesitant to sit on Santa's lap. I think mainly because he wasn't entirely convinced it was the real Santa, and he felt it weird to sit on a strange man's lap. All that aside, we still made him do it. He did ask for some fun things, but in the end Chris told him he better ask for a comb. Look at that hair :)

So cute! We never made it to see Santa this year. Oops. My bad.
Loved the pics of Clara in her dance recital, too. She looks like a little doll. :)
